The Dominican team brought home 14 medals from the Pan-American Weightlifting Championship held recently in Guatemala City. Natividad Dominguez won two golds and one bronze in the 75 kilos division. Others winning gold were Guillermina Candelario, Wendy Santana, Miosotis Heredia, Santos Rivera, Tomas Aquino, and Carlos Holguin. The team’s next commitment is for the Cartagena Central American and Caribbean Games set for July.
