Maxim, the best-selling men’s lifestyle magazine in the US and the world, with 31 international editions in 45 countries, will be hosting the finals of its Miss Maxim contest at Puerto Plata’s Sun Village Resort & Spa. The competition is set for Saturday, 22 July at the Cofresi location. Twenty-seven international finalists will grace the resort and beaches of the Sun Village Resort & Spa, its 54-foot yacht “The Independence” and several notable landmarks in the DR for photo shoots. The finalists will arrive from 15 July for the photo shoot.
The winner will be featured in Maxim editions around the world and will receive a six-figure international modeling contract with one of the world’s top modeling agencies, Major Model Management. The agency’s clientele includes Versace, Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Polo, Estee Lauder, Gap, Valentino and Armani.
The entire Dominican Republic resort shoot will be featured in a 16-page special feature in the October 2006 issue of Maxim’s flagship US edition.
