In March 2006 there were 3,907,124 mobile phones in operation, including analogue and digital phones. In 2005, Verizon dominated with 52.6% of the market, Orange had 27%, Centennial 10.4% and Tricom 10%. In 2000, Verizon had 55% of the market.
