Delta is announcing a new service between Fort Lauderdale and Santo Domingo on 7 June.
As part of its summer schedule, Delta will be offering Santo Domingo customers 21 weekly flights – seven to New York-JFK, seven to Atlanta, and seven to Fort Lauderdale. This complements 28 other flights from US gateways to Puerto Plata, Santiago and Punta Cana. Santo Domingo, the second-most populated city in the Caribbean region, is located in the south of the country on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, and is the prime driver of the Dominican Republic’s growing popularity as a beachgoers’ paradise. The schedule for the daily Flight 291 will be departing Fort Lauderdale at 7:15am, arriving Santo Domingo at 9:15am, and a return flight 292 departing Santo Domingo at 7:15pm, arriving in Fort Lauderdale at 9:20pm.
