Sol Airlines new flights

The Brazil- based Sol Airlines, with Dominican registration HI, is ready to start its operations to nine destinations. Airline general manager Jose Jourdain, speaking in Diario Libre, says that the airline will be using Boeing 767-200 planes with capacity for 224 and a British Aerospace BAE-146 that can seat up to 106. The airline expects to begin operations in July with an investment of US$18 million. Jourdain explained that the airline plans to fly to Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Toronto, Cancun, Curacao, Aruba and Caracas. Sol will be flying out of the La Romana International Airport.
