Hockey at Sun Village

Sun Village Resort & Spa will be hosting the first-ever Ball Hockey Tournament at Cofresi, Puerto Plata from 1-8 December 2007 in partnership with The National Hockey League Alumni Association. Some of the players confirmed to attend include Chris Nilan, Gary Leeman, Dave Schultz, Paul Coffey, two-time Stanley Cup winner Mark Napier and several other hockey notables from the NHL Alumni Association.

The resort is offering travel packages that include accommodation at the Sun Village Resort & Spa, tickets to VIP events and parties with the athletes, participation in hockey games and tickets to all the games. Proceeds from the event will be donated to two of Sun Village and the NHL Alumni Association’s favorite charities.

Guests of the resort will experience a full week of hockey clinics, hockey games, VIP parties and events, celebrity-athlete ‘meet and greets,’ invitations to the poolside karaoke night and an array of other activities.
