Latinhotel, the leading supplier of luxury hotels in Mexico, has new offices and showroom at the Plaza Bolera. Company president, Juergen H. Beier said at the opening that they have opened here to better service their clients as the DR takes a turn towards the luxury tourist segments, as he said happened in Mexico 20 years ago. Latinhotel has been serving the Mexican luxury market since 1990 helping companies choose the best quality in top of the line hotel and restaurant equipping. The Santo Domingo office will enable the company to offer clients shorter lead-times and better after sale service and re-supply.
Beier explained that at present they are equipping the luxury Roco Ki Westin, the Moon Palace in the Punta Cana area, along with the first Four Seasons announced for construction in Casa de Campo, La Romana, among other properties. He said they have been responsible for the equipping of all the Four Seasons in Mexico.
Beier said that while their products are known to be more costly, the quality of the goods makes the purchases last longer and pay off in the long run. “People are willing to pay for quality,” he commented, mentioning that many of the brands they offer have been in the market for more than 100 years. In the DR, they represent the brands Aliseo, Gasser, Sico, Forbes, Mascioni, Kettal, Spiegelau, Tafelstern, Bauscher and Alfi, among others.
Victor Cabral, vice president of Latin Hotel Caribe said they will be serving the rest of the Caribbean from the Santo Domingo office (Tel 809 732-6044). Fernando Forteza is director of sales and can be reached at fforteza@latinhotel.com
