Fuel prices drop after 8 weeks

After eight consecutive weeks of fuel price increases, the Ministry of Industry & Commerce announced that it would give consumers a break. It announced a reduction of RD$6.90 in the price of premium gasoline (now costing RD$153.30 a gallon and RD$6.10 for regular gasoline (now selling for RD$143.70 a gallon).

Propane gas was reduced by RD$1.20 and is now selling for RD$61.34 a gallon.

Diesel was subject to a RD$1 drop, and will sell for RD$115.80 regular and RD$120.80 premium.

Avtur gets a reduction of RD$2.60 to sell for RD$91.94.
