Tourism Minister Francisco Javier Garcia and a large contingent from the DR tourism industry will be offering Dominican-style hospitality in Paris this week. Francisco Javier Garcia will head the Dominican delegation at the Dominican Gastronomical Week at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), from 15-18 September. This will be followed by a workshop at the Eiffel Tower and, finally, they will attend the International French Travel Market (IFTM/TOP RESA 2009) from 22-25 September, according to Mercedes Castillo, the director of the Tourism Promotion Office in Paris.
