In its weekly fuel price update issued on Friday, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce ordered increases of RD$3.30, RD$3.00, RD$2.30 for premium and regular gasoline and diesel. The price of LPG gas remained at RD$80 per gallon. According to the Ministry, the price increases are in response to the news that favorable information indicated an upturn in the United States economy.
