Dog sells drugs?

A playful dog helped National Drug Control Department (DNCD) agents to find cocaine at a vending post in Santo Domingo East. As reported in El Caribe, Pedro Guerrero (Pedro Peluca) was using his own home to sell drugs at Calle Julio Cesar Limbart. The selling point was camouflaged as Centro de Unas Kimiris, a business operated by Samira Valoy Nunez, said to be his girlfriend.

A DNCD agent befriended the dog, which led him to the drugs that were hidden in several parts of the yard. An assistant prosecutor of the Province of Santo Domingo was present.

DNCD spokesman Roberto Lebron says that the man did not show and the agents arrested Valoy.

Diario Digital RD speculated that the dog could be adopted by the DNCD because it is unlikely his owner will take kindly to him.
