On Tuesday, 23 and Wednesday, 24 March, employees at the UASD state university will be able to purchase brand new vehicles, making reduced tax payments and benefiting from the lowest financing rates. The rector of the UASD said Santo Domingo Motors (Nissan, Chevrolet, Suzuki), Agencia Bella (Honda), Magna Motors (Mazda and Hyundai) and Grupo Viamar (Ford) would be taking part in the plan. Buyers need to make a 20% down payment, and the companies will accept used vehicles as part of the payment. The new owners will receive their vehicles in 90 days so companies have time to order and import the vehicles. Vehicles will be financed at the prime rate for the first three years (now at 10%).
