Punta Cana gets JetBlue flights from NY and Boston

JetBlue Airways has begun flights to Punta Cana from John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York and Logan International Airport in Boston operating A320 aircraft. The daily nonstop flights will be year-round to Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) and JFK but on Saturdays to Boston.

Punta Cana becomes JetBlue’s 15th international destination and fourth destination in the DR. The airline has grown substantially in recent years and now claims to be the nation’s #1 airline.

“JetBlue is happy to be adding Punta Cana to our group of Dominican destinations. We are confident this destination will be, like our other destinations on the island, a great success,” said Scott Laurence, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning.
