Moon Palace Punta Cana presents Taste Punta Cana 2010, a Caribbean Food and Wine Affair, on 4 and 5 June. The event will bring together leading Dominican chefs for conferences, tastings and talks on gourmet Dominican cooking. International chefs Pascal Messier (Canadian Executive Chef of the Hotel Melia Santo Domingo), Cecilia Gadea (director of the Caribbean School of Sommeliers), Ariel Penalva (Argentinean pastry chef) and Gaspar Fuster (of Mijas in Santo Domingo and Peperoni Marina in La Romana) are the guest speakers.
The schedule includes a grand opening party with jazz music on Friday, 4 June, culinary performances, a marketplace, grand tasting, and conferences and a rock closing bash on Saturday.
