Customs confiscates meds in luggage

The Customs Department has confiscated four suitcases packed with pharmaceuticals that US citizen Christian Castanos Martinez and Dominican Jimmy Alberto Javier Luna were attempting to bring into the DR through Las Americas International Airport.

The pair will be accused of importing pharmaceuticals without authorization. Dolo-Neurobion, Canesten V, Dorixina Relax, Dramamine, Plavix, Meticorten, and other well-known pharmaceuticals were in the suitcases.
