Viva Wyndham announces the complete remodeling of its Dominicus Beach Resort in Bayahibe. The first guests to try it out will get special rates of US$65 per person, per night through 16 December 2010. Rooms have been redecorated and refurbished, including the bathrooms. The remodeling also included the renovation of its glass-like main pool that overlooks the beach. Other remodeled areas include the La Placita bar by the main pool, open 24-hours offering guests refreshing beverages and snacks, the La Terraza buffet restaurant that now features show cooking and the lobby and reception areas.
Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach, known for its oceanfront and garden view bungalows made of coral stone and thatched roofs, is located less than half an hour from the La Romana International Airport and Altos de Chavon artists’ village.
The Dominicus Beach Resort was the hotel that kick-started the successful Bayahibe beach destination.
