TV investigative reporter Nuria Piera says that around one million PLD ruling party activists, grouped in 55,000 committees or the organization, receive payments of RD$3,000-RD$4,000 a month “for their political work.” The payments are included in extra-payrolls in government departments. She presented the observations last night in her 8-9 summary of her show by CDN, Channel 37.
