One of the tastiest exhibitions in the Dominican Republic, ExpoMango 2010 will again take place in Bani from Thursday, 17 June through Sunday, 20 June. A group of institutions linked to the mango industry in the Dominican Republic has successfully organized the ExpoMango fair since 2005. This activity promotes and encourages mango production, processing, marketing and consumption, both locally and internationally. Producers, dealers and people in general get to interact in both scientific and educational activities. The event features topics like the genetic diversity and technological innovations in the cultivation of mango. The event takes place at the city hall plaza (Plaza del Ayuntamiento). On Saturday, 19 June there will be visits to plantations and tasting of dishes. On Sunday, there will be a contest with an award for the best landscape.
