Santo Domingo will be the meeting center for leading airline and airport marketing executives who will be visiting for the Routes Americas network planning event. The 4th Routes America recognizes the vital interdependence of the North, South and Central American markets. Attending are airline executives from the Americas, tourism authorities and tour operators. The event consists of two full days of one-to-one meetings and the Americas Strategy Forum Conference. This is the first time that the Caribbean is hosting the important event.
The event is hosted by Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (Aerodom). Aerodom CEO Andrew O’Brien made the point that the event brings the air transport community of the Americas to Santo Domingo. “We will offer all participants the possibility of discovering a leading Caribbean destination that currently receives close to nine million travelers a year from more than 20 cities around the world,” he said.
Aerodom is a private concessionaire that operates six international airports in the DR, including Las Americas and Gregorio Luperon in Puerto Plata.
