It’s time for unique Dominican tapas. Drawing from the country’s Spanish culinary heritage, chefs from leading restaurants have joined forces to tempt the palates of local gourmets with culinary surprises from 15 September to 14 October.
This is a continuation of the Dominican chefs’ contribution to the celebration of Santo Domingo American Capital of Culture. After a first month offering fusion cuisine, now the restaurants under the Dominican Association of Restaurants (ADERES) have each produced five to seven simple tapas mostly using locally produced ingredients.
Participating restaurants are Angelo, Atarazana, Bistro, Boca Marina, Boga Boga, Buen Provecho, Caffe Milano, Cane, Casa Mencia, Museo del Jamon, Enzo, Fellini, Hard Rock Cafe, Il Capuccino, La Briciola, Marrana, Lincoln Road, Lolita, Marocha, Meson de Bari, El Meson de la Cava, Meson Iberia, Mijas, Mitre, Mei Gui, Neptunos, Olivo, Patepalo, Peperoni, Porter House, Samurai, Scherezade, Vesuvio Malecon and Vesuvio Tiradentes.
These special small dishes cost less than RD$200 each in all the restaurants.
