The government’s Direccion General de Transito Terrestre (DGTT), the entity in charge of ground transport, has announced that Control Global Capital is responsible for the traffic lights in the National District. The contract covers the maintenance of 273 traffic lights. The DGTT informed that traffic lights would be repaired and synchronized. The government awarded a contract of RD$173 million, and the company received a first down payment of RD$25 million, as reported in Diario Libre.
