An event not to be missed this weekend is the Bani Sweets Fair that starts on Thursday at 5pm and will continue through Sunday. It will take place on the Joaquin Sergio Inchaustegui plaza at the Marcos Cabral Park. German Baez Villar told the Listin Diario that the fair this year will also focus on sweets made from Bani-grown mangos.
The variety of Dominican sweets, many made from tropical fruits and vegetables, with honey, coconut, and other products is amazing. Stopping to buy sweets needs to be on the agenda of anyone driving through southwestern Bani.
