The first Viva Residence Las Terrenas apartments and villas are now ready to be enjoyed by their owners. Rafael Blanco Canto, vice president of the Viva Resorts Group that is developing the project in Bahia de Coson, Samana has presented them to the press. The 76 units designed by leading Dominican modernist architect Antonio Imbert are part of the US$20 million development, next door to Viva Residence Bahia Estela. Blanco spoke about how Samana’s outlook is bright with the completion of new infrastructure by the government. These include the recently inaugurated aqueduct and sewage pipelines, the new highway from Las Americas Expressway in Santo Domingo to Samana, the El Catey International Airport and progress on the new highway from El Catey to Samana, connecting the north coast to the northeast beaches. The apartments and villas can be purchased fully decorated and furnished by the Aurora, Homeset or ZG firms or by architect Sara Lina Lora.
