The US Embassy American Citizens Service Unit staff will be at the Centro Cultural Dominico-Americano (Av. Estrella Sadhala 101) in Santiago on Wednesday, 2 February to provide services such as US passports renewal and documents notarization. The Embassy encourages US citizens to keep their passports up to date. The staff will also include a representative of Federal Benefits and Social Security. The service will be available from 10am to 2pm and previous appointments are required by calling 809 731-4371 from Monday to Thursday, from 1:30 to 4pm.
The US Embassy says that this is the first of six service operations scheduled for Santiago this year. The others will take place on 6 April, 1 June, 3 August, 5 October and 7 December.
