Dominican high school students from all around the country will meet with international students at the International Conference of the Americas (CILA), the leading Latin American and Caribbean global affairs youth conference. The event will take place from Wednesday, 26 October to Sunday, 30 October at the convention center of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana. Some 1,500 students from around the world will be the world’s leading diplomats for the discussions on international affairs. The students will seek solutions to the challenges faced by the international community during the event that is a simulation of the United Nations and its many multilateral, regional and international bodies. The event is organized in coordination with the Dominican Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (Funglode).
