Jose Antonio Najri Cesani of the Dominican Naval Auxiliary (AND) and James E. Evans from the US Coast Guard have signed a working agreement to improve safeguarding and security operations in Dominican waters. During a recent US Coast Guard meeting AND was recognized for having saved 75 lives from 2010 to 2011. The private coast guard service is a network of 200 members and 151 sea and air vessels.
