MSC Cruises, the shipping line that promises European charm and modern Italian elegance plus Italian and New World Mediterranean cuisine, will be docking in Santo Domingo in 2012.
The Ministry of Tourism announced that it was agreed that the Sans Souci Terminal of the Port of Santo Domingo would be the homeport. It will make an inaugural departure on Wednesday, 20 December and will touch port in La Romana the next day. The MSC will be using the MSL Lirica, with 795 cabins and capacity for 2,199 passengers.
Cruise ship passengers will tour the Colonial City.
