The Embassy of Canada has announced that a Canadian food and beverage trade mission will visit 11 and 12 October for meetings with the Dominican food sector.
The visiting Canadian business representatives are seeking local partners to do business in the Dominican market. The Canadian Trade Section of the Embassy says the businesspeople see opportunities given the stability of the country.
Companies that are visiting are: Ronald Chisholm (meat and dairy), CanAm Boxed Meats (meat), MB Specialites (frozen foods) Heritage Produce (fresh potatoes), Visser Produce (fresh potatoes and seed potatoes) and the Mera Group of Companies (soya food processing technologies).
