Users in the Dominican Republic suffered the effect of major problems affecting Blackberry smart telephones worldwide. Blackberry’s owner RIM says that its services “have improved significantly”, following a three-day global blackout. Nevertheless, users nationwide had their messaging and e-mail service disrupted.
