Visit Puerto Plata and enjoy comedy performed by members of the local expatriate community. The North Coast Players Theatre Company presents British award-winning playwright Ray Cooney’s “Tom, Dick and Harry” farce on the evenings of 10 and 11 February 2012. Directed by theater professional Jane Waites and produced by Judith Hogg, the comedy is booked for the Sosua Bay Conference Center at 7:30pm.
The play is an everyday story about adoption, contraband, cigarettes and booze, illegal immigrants and dead bodies. The stellar roles of the three brothers are played by Simon Foster, Westlake and Trevor Hay Brett. Tickets are on sale for RD$400 in Sosua until 28 January at The Britannia Pub and the Jolly Roger Restaurant and in Cabarete at Dive Cabarete (opposite Banco BHD) and Maynards Fashion at the Ocean Dream Plaza. Last year’s play at the Conference Center was presented to sellout crowds of more than 800 per evening, so booking early is highly recommended.
