Delta adds new frequencies

As of March, Delta Air Lines has added new frequencies between New York (JFK) and Santo Domingo (SDQ) and Santiago de los Caballeros (STI). Delta said that it is doubling its daily flights from Santo Domingo and Santiago to JFK in New York due to the increase in demand. Delta Air Lines is including meals on board in economy (a sandwich and cookie, accompanied by choice of soft drinks or juice and coffee or tea). Soon to be introduced is Spanish language in-flight entertainment in March and a surprise drink that promises to be especially popular with Latin American customers.

Nicolas Ferri, vice president for Latin America said, “Delta is taking firm steps to become the best US airline serving Latin America and the Caribbean.” He is banking on support from passengers commuting between the DR and the US.
