If you haven’t done so already, plan on visiting the Atarazana lane restaurants on Friday and Saturday evenings to watch the folklore and live entertainment at the Plaza de Espana in Santo Domingo’s Colonial City. Sit down for dinner and watch the show. The event, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, is held from 8 to 10pm every Friday and Saturday.
