The Ministry of Tourism has announced the signing of an agreement with the Miami Marlins to market the Dominican Republic as the Major League team’s official destination during this season. The agreement includes promoting the Dominican Republic in the team’s new stadium with electronic banners, promotions and special events, including Dominican Heritage Night, with concerts by renowned Dominican musicians. This is the fifth consecutive year the DR and the Miami Marlins have worked together, as reported in Diario Libre.
