Dominican basketball star Al Horford is back in play for the Atlanta Hawks. His first game after missing 55 regular season games was on Sunday, 6 May, against the Boston Celtics. Horford missed 55 regular season games after tearing his left chest injury in early January battling for a rebound with Indiana’s Roy Hibbert. He and forward Josh Smith returned to action, but were not able to save their team from a 101-79 loss to the Celtics, which took a 3-1 series lead.
