Air Century announces the start of weekly flights to Barahona in the southwest from Santo Domingo and Punta Cana. The flight schedules will make it possible for visitors to reach Barahona and Santo Domingo by quick one-hour flights, compared to the six to seven-hour overland trip from Punta Cana to Barahona, for instance.
The regular flights are:
Wednesday: departing Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) at 8:30am for La Isabela International Airport in northern Santo Domingo (JBQ). Departing JBQ for Maria Montez International Airport in Barahona (BRX) at 9:30am.
The return flight is at 4:45pm from Maria Montez International Airport in Barahona (BRX).
Friday: departing PUJ at 8:30am to JBQ in Santo Domingo. Departing JBQ at 3:30pm for BRX. Return flight from Barahona is at 4:45pm to JBQ. Then JBQ to PUJ at 5:45pm.
Sunday: Santo Domingo (JBQ) to Barahona (BRX) at 3:30pm, BRX to JBQ at 4:45pm, and JBQ to PUJ at 5:45pm.
