The Dominican Consortium for Tourism Competitiveness announces the celebration of the Dominican Annual Tourism Forum for 31 October-1 November 2012 at the Dominican Fiesta Hotel in Santo Domingo. In their promotion of the event, the organizers make the point that the Dominican Republic has declined from being ranked 62nd in World Competitiveness by the World Economic Forum to 110th of 147 countries. The event will take place with the start of the new Danilo Medina administration and expectations for a new team to take over from the eight-year Fernandez administration.
