The Medina administration has been downsizing government and instead of dozens of deputy ministers, a common feature of previous administrations, it has appointed just six. The six deputy ministers of tourism appointed on 1 September by Decree 532-12 are: Radhames Martinez Aponte, Ramon Cruz Dilone, Fausto Rafael Fernandez, Cesar Jose de los Santos, Rafael Baron Duluc and Marcia Patricia Isa. Medina also appointed Francisco Carreras as Presidential tourism advisor.
