Yesterday, Monday 8 October, President Danilo Medina met with the head of the United Nations Mission for the Stabilization of Haiti (MINUSTAH), Mariano Fernandez, and promised to continue supporting the process of stabilization and security of Haiti.
Following the meeting, at a press conference held at the Presidential Palace, Fernandez thanked President Medina for what he said had been a productive conversation as well as thanking the Dominican government for the work they had done to assist Haiti.
