National District judge Alejandro Vargas has sent Caribair president Rafael Rosado Fermin to jail on remand for six months. Rosado is accused of belonging to an international drug trafficking network and money laundering.
Sergio Rene Gomez Diaz, Cristian Antonio Suarez Javier and Ennol Outram Holmes were also jailed along with the airline executive.
A total of 13 people are now imprisoned on remand following the light aircraft crash in Constanza where two people were killed.
