Film enthusiasts will have the chance to see some 15 films from Latin America and Spain during the Second Ibero-American Film Festival at the Cinemateca Nacional at Plaza de la Cultura (behind the Museum of History & Geography) in Santo Domingo. The film festival opens on 18 October and will run through 30 October. The festival will be screening a selection of films and is sponsored by the Latin American and Spanish missions in the Dominican Republic.
