A Puerto Plata court has ordered a year’s preventive custody for Peter Brunck and his son Daniel Brunck in the case involving the death of fellow German Peter Ebert Demetrick in a clash at La Mulatta III residential area in Sosua, in which three police agents were also injured. The Bruncks admitted that the armored SUV and the ambulance found at the residence were theirs, as well as a large arms cache. They said they have legal permits for the weapons.
