The president of the PRSC, Carlos Morales Troncoso has decided to review the cases of dozens of members who were expelled for supporting candidates from other parties during the recent elections in the hope of harmonizing and unifying the party, and has set up a commission headed by the former president of the Senate, Florentino Carvajal Suero, to look at each individual case.
The commission will also include former senator Victor Garcia Sued, Louis Bogaert, Ivelisse Pavon, Mario Espinosa, Francisco Tico Diaz, German Castro and Ruben Dario Ramos, all of whom are members of the PRSC National Political Committee.
The announcement was made at a press conference by Carvajal Suero, who said that the commission would meet with each member who had shown interest in returning to the Party even though they had not followed Party instructions during the elections.
