Bahamas Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Frederick A. Mitchell and Minister of Agriculture, Marine Resources and Local Government Alfred Gray are in Santo Domingo for bilateral talks from 29 October to 1 November. Minister Mitchell heads the delegation and will be joined by Minister of National Security Bernard J. Nottage, Minister of Financial Services Ryan Pinder and technical officers from the ministries, along with relevant private sector stakeholders. The Bahamas seek to discuss issues such as illegal fishing by Dominican fishermen, illegal migration and trade relations, particularly in the area of agricultural imports, medical products and investment in the tourism sector, as reported in The Bahamas Weekly.
