President Danilo Medina will travel to Spain on Tuesday, 13 November to attend the 23rd Ibero-American Summit from 16-17 November in Cadiz. This will be his second trip abroad since he began his term in 16 August 2012. The first time he traveled to attend the UN General Assembly in New York. The Presidency reports that Medina will travel on a commercial flight (Iberia). His predecessor, President Leonel Fernandez was often criticized for traveling on private jets. The President will be accompanied by Minister of the Presidency Gustavo Montalvo, Administrative Minister Jose Ramon Peralta and Minister of Foreign Relations Carlos Morales Troncoso.
