Amid rising discontent with the newly passed tax hikes and lack of government accountability, President Danilo Medina is expected to travel to Spain, departing from Las Americas International Airport at 6:15pm today, Wednesday 14 November. He will be attending the XXII Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government that will be held in Cadiz from 13 to 17 of November. He arrives in Spain at 7:45am and is scheduled to return on Air Europa’s Sunday flight arriving at 7:55pm. During his visit to Spain, Medina is scheduled to meet with other heads of government and to take part in two of the plenary sessions.
