Banco Popular has been chosen as “Dominican Republic, Bank of the Year 2012” by the London based Banker magazine for the tenth time.
The magazine praises the administration of the bank under its president Manuel A. Grullon, highlighting innovation, client satisfaction and teamwork.
The classifications carried out by The Banker are based on analyses of financial organizations in more than 130 countries.
The president of the bank said he was pleased with the award and that it was an important recognition that reflected the quality of the service provided by Banco Popular, the respect and confidence of its clients and shareholders and helped with its international positioning.
