New York Yankee star Robinson Cano visited the Presidential Palace yesterday, Wednesday 5 December to give President Danilo Medina a signed baseball bat. Cano described President Medina as a symbol of the progress the Dominican Republic will experience in the coming four years of his term. “I have no doubt that President Medina will go down in history as one of the country’s best Presidents,” he told reporters covering the visit.
