This Christmas, Centro Cuesta Nacional (CCN) and Macadamia La Loma have joined forces to unveil the new Organic Chocolate and Macadamia Nougat (turron). The product is prepared by micro-businesses in several provinces as part of an alliance between Xocolat and Macadamia La Loma for the manufacture of the delicious treat. “In the nougat delicious bites of macadamia collected from the hills of the Central Mountain Range can be tasted, and through your purchase you are helping to preserve the forests and support farmers in the mountain communities,” says La Loma. The nougat can be purchased at CCN stores (Jumbo and El Nacional) for RD$248.95.
