Keep the umbrellas handy

The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) reported today, Friday 14 December that the winds from the northeast continue to be the dominant factor in our weather due to the humidity that they carry. Cloud formations in the north, northeast, southeast, southwest and central areas including the Central Mountains will bring moderate to heavy rains. There is also a low-pressure trough over eastern Cuba and temperatures will be lower during the morning and evening hours. Saturday, 15 December will see scattered showers over most of the country. Small craft warnings have been lifted due to improved conditions at sea.
