The Weather Office (Onamet) says that for the Three Kings long weekend Dominicans can expect sunny skies. The forecast is for brief showers, but Onamet warns that there will be high surf, especially to the north east. It recommends small boats to keep within the protected Samana Bay and not head out to the Atlantic Ocean. Small boats sailing the Caribbean Sea should also stay close to shore.
Onamet says that there is a frontal system displacing itself in the Atlantic waters.
